Colossians - A Prophetic Community

As Paul closes his letter, he gives us a glimpse of what the church is supposed to look like; a community of Spirit-filled people who are connected even beyond the boundaries of their own church. A community in which people are raised up and sent out, and also receive others from afar. Join us as we practice living out the "global apostolic partnership" Paul witnesses to by hosting Cameron Oliver and allowing him to encourage us in the prophetic.

The Scriptures describe a world at war, in which the dominion of darkness has now been fatally injured by fights on anyhow. How should we recognize or conceptualize the powers that oppose us? And how do we navigate this world at war?

But Paul has a very different sort of life in mind, one in which we "put off" those things which belonged to our old nature and put on "new creation clothes" which line up with who we are today.
